Evelyn F. Search

Evelyn was born on August 21, 1933 in Stockholm, NJ the daughter of the late Irene Holley and James Holley. She is survived by her son, William P. Search and his children, Dane, Jade and Dylan Search of Binghamton; one great granddaughter, Gabrielle Search of Binghamton; partner, Norman Frederick Schreiner, Jr. of Stamford; one sister, Shirley Shields and her husband, James of Sparta, NJ; one brother, John W. Holley and his wife, Anna of Branchville, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William Search; two brothers, Allen and Waldron Totten; and two sisters, Mary Alarcon and Muriel Paulison.

She was a devoted member of the Treadwell United Methodist Church and Treadwell Fire Department.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Treadwell United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Croton Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Treadwell United Methodist Church or Treadwell Fire Department.
