Florence Marie Grissino

A devoted Catholic, Florence lived a long and fulfilling life centered around family and simple joys. She was a retired longtime employee of Otsego County, where her hard work and dedication were deeply appreciated.

Florence found great joy in tending to her meticulously kept yard and flower gardens, and she loved spending quiet time working on word puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters Patti-Anne White (and her husband Andy) of Brooksville, Florida; and Mary Jane Waters (and her husband Fred) of Milford, NY; as well as granddaughters Abigail Marie Waters, Crystal Couse, Alicia Harding; along with several great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Florence was predeceased by her first husband, William Thomas Bateman, whom she married on January 20, 1951, in Williston Park, New York; he passed away on February 16, 1977. She later married Anthony Grissino on October 6, 1979, and they shared many happy years together until his passing on September 19, 2016. Florence was also predeceased by her beloved sons, William Bateman (June 23, 2014) and Steven Bateman (March 1, 2011).

Her final resting place will be at Milford Cemetery in Milford, New York.
