Frances Marie Russell

She was born on December 22, 1917 in New York City the daughter of Joseph and Nora (DiMasi) Civita. In 1948, Frances married Arthur Hoegger, and he predeceased her in 1962. In 1964, she married Fred Sandoli, and he predeceased her in 1989, and in 1992, she married John J. Russell, and he predeceased her in 1999.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Church; it’s Rosary Society, and the Italian American Club.

She is survived by her step children, Gary Russell of Oriskany, Jeannine Russell of Hudson, FL, Patricia Russell of Oneonta, Eileen Russell of Goodyear Lake and Elaine Massey of Newport Richey, FL; her grandchildren, Jonathan Russell, Stephen Russell, Allison Jacobson, Albie Fowler, and Darrell Scott, and several great grandchildren.

She is also survived by a nephew, Joseph (Dorothy) Amatuccio and a niece, Norine(Ernest) Feola, and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church with the Rev Scott VanDerveer, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be later in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.

Friends may call on Tuesday at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
