Known as Fran or affectionately as Pudgie, he was born April 18, 1948 to the late Frank Joseph and Marian Sarah (DeStefano) Scafidi. He was a 1966 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School.
He is survived by his family Lorraine Pagles, daughter Nicole Cashman (Colleen) and the prides and joys of his life, his granddaughters Olivia and Gabrielle Cashman, several nieces and nephews and a special brother in-law Harold Sanderson. He is predeceased by his sister Marianne Sanderson.
His family would like to thank the many nurses and aides at Cooperstown Center who cared for Fran over the past few years and became his second family and most recently the Helios Care team for support him during this time in his life.
Per Fran’s wishes, there will be no services.
