Frederick Morse Bouton Jr.

He was born on December 6, 1947 in Margaretville, New York, the son of Frederick and Joan (Brown) Bouton. He married Karen Dunn on December 24, 2004 in Irving, Texas.

Fred served his country in the United States Marines, receiving an honorable discharge in 1972.

He was a loving husband to Karen; and proud father of Keith Bouton, Brian Bouton and Cheyenne Bouton Dickerson; he also leaves behind grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Dakota, Riley and Lane; and great grandchildren, Spencer, Anthony and Bella.

Fred loved to laugh, joke, and tell stories about his childhood in upstate NY, as well as his time spent in the Marine Corps. He was a member of American Legion post #1688 in Laurens, NY and the Living Water Faith Fellowship Church in Oneonta, NY.

In his last years, he enjoyed going to Farmers Markets, doing word search puzzles, and watching Westerns with Karen. He will be greatly missed.

No services are planned at this time while the family decides how they would like to best honor Fred’s memory.
