Gloria R. Ehrhard

She was born on November 8, 1927 in New York City, the daughter of Hildegard and Charles Giles Roberts.

Gloria was raised in Scarsdale and graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1945. She married Theodore Ehrhard on November 10, 1945. They moved to Treadwell after marrying.

In 1960, Gloria was employed as Secretary to the Principal for AL Kellogg Central School and later worked at Delaware Academy, Delhi. In 1971, she became employed by Capra Business Consultants, eventually moving to Farm Credit Service in 1975. She retired in 1985.

During her life, she enjoyed traveling (including bus trips), camping, cruises, hunting, and trips to casinos.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Gail (Tom) Miner of Grand Gorge; her son, Bruce (Melissa) Ehrhard of Treadwell; grandchildren, Tom Miner Jr, Valerie Brown, Stephanie Carty, Lindsey Ehrhard, Lorraine Kozo, John Ehrhard Jr, Christine Danielsen, Denise Laarz, Ethan, Evander, and Eian Wright; 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Theodore in 1985; her son, John in 2011; her stepfather John T. Roberts; and her sister, Elizabeth in 2012.

A funeral service will take place at on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11 am at the Treadwell United Methodist Church, 68 Church Street, Treadwell. The family will greet everyone from 10 to 11 am.

Burial will take place in the spring in Croton Union Cemetery, Treadwell.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Treadwell Fire Department Emergency Squad, 9202 Co Rd 16, Treadwell, NY 13846
