Jack was born on September 1, 1939 in Oneonta, the son of the late Clifford and Mary (Shearer) Bordinger. He married Patricia A. Halter on August 25, 1977 in Oneonta.
Jack worked as a truck driver for the NYS Department of Corrections retiring in 1995.
He enjoyed camping, hunting and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Bordinger of Oneonta; his daughter, Vicki Bordinger Oblinski and her husband, Jason of West Laurens and a grandson, Lucas Oblinski.
He is also survived by his two brothers Donald Bordinger and his wife, Mary of West Oneonta and Morrison Bordinger and his wife, Jo of Davenport Center as well as several nieces and nephews.
