He was born February 03, 1940 in Oneonta the son of Ralph and Katherine (Whitney) Raymond.
Jim worked and retired from Howe Caverns after 35 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Janet (Woolheater) Raymond, his father, his step mother, Ann Brookley Raymond, his mother, sister, Gloria, step daughter, Marcia, and step son, Jack Stanley.
He is survived by his siblings, Beverly (Bill) Guest, Oneonta and Ronald (Kathy) Raymond, Florida; step children, Linda (Eugene) Wells, Florida, David Stanley, West Oneonta, Katie (Gary) Lushkevich, Otego and Anie Stanley, Narrowsburg; also several grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
At Jim’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
