Jane E. Swanson

She was born August 17, 1930 in Providence, R.I. the daughter of Oscar J. and Inga (Gunhild) Swanson.

For a period of twenty five years, Jane was employed by Ray’s Liquor Store and Special Affair Liquor Store in Delhi.

She was a graduate of Johnson and Wales Business College in Providence, R.I.

Jane was a lifelong member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, and occasionally attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church, both in Delhi.

She is survived by four daughters, Karen (Vantyle) McShane of Oneonta, Ann Olive and her husband Jeffrey of Virginia Beach, VA., Michele Trelease and her husband, Donald of Delhi, and Diane Oles and her husband, Scott of Delhi; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Olive.

A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Warwick, Rhode Island

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
