I have so very many fond memories of Aunt Jean. She and my mother (Eleanor VanCuren) had so many crazy wonderful, fun times together, I so loved hearing all their stories of the fun adventures together, I treasure all those memories...Aunt Jean was very special to me when I was growing up and she will always remain in my heart. I love you Aunt Jean I hope the Glory Land is ready for you and my mom to be reunited ...bless you

Scorch, Nancy and family.
I have your mother to thank (or sometimes blame) for my venture into politics. She was a wonderful woman and mentored me in my early and mostly wayward days. We had great conversations about home , Urban Renewal, the Mayor and all things Oneonta. I miss her wise counsel and her ability to get me back on track when I was on some rant. She truly believed in the spirit of public service. My thoughts are with you all in this time of loss
