John Hartley Conrade

He was born March 23, 1939 in Watertown the son of the late Hartley E. and Jewell C. (Shirley) Conrade.

John enjoyed going to the diner for coffee and dinner, driving truck and talking on his CB radio. He will be remembered for his one liners and being able to tell a good joke.

John is survived by his seven children, Gary, Marc, Randy, Keith, Kenny, Francine and Charlene; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; his longtime companion, Kathy Carlisle; and special niece, Jackie McRedmond; brother-in-law, David Vadney. He was predeceased by his sisters, Shirley Kingsbury, Sandy Vadney and Tina Oliver; a granddaughter and a great grandson.

At John’s request, there will not be any services at this time. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Susquehanna SPCA, 5082-5088 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, NY 13326 in loving memory of John Hartley Conrade.
