June E. Bullis Anderson

She was born on May 26, 1937 in Oneonta, the daughter of the late Clayton and Bessy (Houck) Bullis. June married Charles Anderson on December 4, 1954 in Oneonta.

June loved going to family get-togethers and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending summer softball league games. In her spare time, June kept busy putting together puzzles, reading, and word search puzzles. She also had a passion for WWE Wrestling.

June is survived by her companion of over 45 years, Fred Tyler; her two sons, Larry Anderson and Gene Anderson; her grandchildren, June Thayer, Shawn Anderson, Jennifer Anderson, Kyle Anderson, and Brandon Anderson; and 9 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Bullis, Penny Klinegardener, Caroline Finch, Ruth Anne Bullis-Martin, and Shirley Oliver; her brothers, Barry Bullis and Randy Bullis; a special brother-in-law, Joe Anderson, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

June was predeceased by her husband, Charles Anderson, and her brother, Gene Bullis.

Friends and family may call from Noon to 1 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta at which time the family will be in attendance.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mel Farmer officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
