Karen L. Ort

Karen lived and worked in the Oneonta area for 57 years. She made every event she was part of a special occasion. She was an exceptional cook, gardener, and decorator. A talented silversmith and caterer, Karen also worked in the antique business and was a real estate agent.

She loved being in nature and traveling, Montana was a favorite destination.

Karen leaves behind her sister, Diann Moseson, and Diann’s husband, Marshall; her brother, Glenn Ort, and his wife, Victoria Wasiel. She is also survived by her nephew, Matthew Ort, his wife Caroline, and their son, Rowan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
