Kimberlie A. Gillette

She was born November 17, 1964 in Oneonta and was the beloved daughter of Sherrie Gillette. Her father Jack Gillette pre-deceased her. In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving sister, brother-in-law and nephew, Deedee, Jeff, and Gabe House of Oneonta, her uncle, Doug Shaver of Atlanta Ga, her aunt, Barb Shaver of Zephyrhills, Fla, and several cousins. She also loved and cared for her little dog Rocco.

Kimberlie earned a Bachelors Degree from Empire State College and spent the majority of her work life in the helping healing professions. For the past 10 plus years she was employed by Springbrook as Team Leader. She truly loved her job and took great pride in her work. She held the agency in high regard and felt very fortunate to be part of the Springbrook team. Previously she worked at the Schenectady County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse followed by Berkshire Farms in New Canaan.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Kimberlie’s name may be made to the local Susquehanna Animal Shelter or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
