Lawrence J. Levinson

Lawrence J. Levinson, 76, of Oneonta, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at AO Fox Nursing Home, Oneonta.

He was born on August 3, 1944 in the Bronx, the son of Edmund and Eva (Baehr) Levinson.

Larry was employed for 50 years as a production manager for the NY Times.

He was a 32nd degree Mason and held long-time membership in the Elks Lodge. When he was able, he enjoyed traveling, watching TV, and visiting casinos.

He is survived by his wife Lynne Levinson; his son and daughter in law, Richard and Dana Levinson; his son and daughter in law, Steve and Stephanie Levinson; his grandchildren, Jacob, Benjamin, Donald, Delilah, Dahlia, and Dannah; and his sister, Lynn Levinson.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Friends are invited to gather with the family on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta, from 11 am – 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Larry’s wish is for donations to be made to his grandson Donald’s organization, Life Is Washable, Inc., 11 Morgan Avenue, Oneonta, NY 13820. Your donation will be used to teach disabled children Ice Hockey.
