

Born in Cooperstown, NY on August 29, 1949, Liberty was daughter to James and Gwendolyn Dutcher. She and her brothers and sisters were raised in Milford, NY.
Liberty, was a free spirt, a devoted mother and most importantly a servant of God. She lived life with a heart full of love, always putting others before herself. This was reflected in her career path, serving the community through Family Services, working at Center St school and being a caregiver to many area children over the years.
Liberty loved being active and enjoyed being outdoors in nature. She was an artist, avid gardener, seamstress, a friend to many and a loving person. She lived a wonderful life full of love and energy. She was actively involved with the Goodyear lake polar bear jump. Those that knew her, understood her impact on the world and what she left behind.
Survived by her three children and their families; Brenda Waters married to Jamie Waters of Milford NY and their children Jeremiah, Dana, Wyatt and Mataiah; Cerisaac Dutcher married to Kristin Dutcher of Durham NC and their children Amelia and Lilianna; and youngest child Isaiah Dutcher married to Katie Dutcher of Rochester NY and their children Ophelia and Eloise.
A private burial will take place with a celebration of life to follow. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the celebration of life at Gilbert Lake State Park, Briggs Pavilion on September 10th, 2022 between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. In place of cards please bring a sealed envelope with a memory, story or meaningful encounter you had with Liberty.
