Maolia “Pam” Olmstead, 72 of Otego, passed away Saturday March 21, 2020, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.

Pam was born April 8, 1947, in Utica, NY the daughter of the late Marion Abrams. She married her loving husband of 51 years, Paul Olmstead, on September 6, 1968, in South Brookfield, NY.

Pam graduated from the Edward’s School of Beauty in Oneonta. She also started her own residential cleaning service and worked very hard to insure the business’s success cleaning many homes in the Brownville and Watertown area.

She is survived by her loving husband Paul of Otego; her children, Paul Olmstead, Jr. and Kara of Helena, MT and Beth Yerdon and her husband Robert of Syracuse. Pam is also survived by her loving grandchildren Austin Olmstead, Michaela Olmstead, Madysen Yerdon, and Adian Olmstead.

A Celebration of Pam’s Life will be held at a later date.

Pam was my very dear friend. She was
A true example of what a best friend
should be. We shared busy days at work
But she never failed to make me laugh.
She certainly made the days pass quickly with her joyfulness & hard work. She will be sadly missed.
