Margaret "Peggy" A. Marino

She was born on June 10, 1932 in Oneonta, the daughter of William and Catherine Jones. She married Albert E. Marino on August 13, 1950 at the old St. Mary’s Church in Oneonta. He predeceased her on September 26, 2019.

Peggy worked as a seamstress in the alterations department at Bresee’s in Oneonta until her retirement in the early 70s. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crosswords, cooking, and baking.

She is survived by her children, daughter Debra and Daniel R. Ackermann of Oneonta, NY, daughter Terri-Jo and Dale R. Clark of The Villages, Florida, son Albert W. and Maureen Marino of Manassas, VA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara (Jones) Jacques of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by her parents; her daughter and son in law, Kathy Marino and Dennis Parker;

Friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, 14 Grand Street, Oneonta, from 11 am to 1 pm. A funeral service will take place immediately following at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
