She was born May 27, 1954, in Oneonta, the daughter of the late Burnett and Dorothy (Oliver) Zeh.
For several years, Peggy was the title clerk at Otsego Automotive. After her retirement from there she was the bartender at No Place.
Peggy was an avid bear and jewelry collector. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and was a wonderful baker. But what gave her the greatest joy was spending time with her daughter and especially her grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Provenzano, Worcester; Donna Lange, Chris Wilder and Tracy Paige; her grandchildren, who she adored, Mariah and James Provenzano, Bobby Banhart and David DuBois; two sisters, Darlene (William) Carrington, Oneonta and Donna Bates, Bainbridge; one brother, Burnett (Joann) Zeh Jr., Hartwick; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, July 15, at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oneonta, with a celebration of life service immediately following at 3 p.m.
