Marie was married to Jerome Ginsberg on October 5, 1963, and throughout her life she remained a loving wife and mother—steadfast in her devotion to those she held closest. Beloved by her family, she gave of herself in the quiet, enduring ways that make a home feel steady and sure.
Her affection for family was at the center of her days, reflected as well in the simple joys she cherished: Italian music playing in the background, time spent cooking, the calm concentration of word search puzzles, and a tender fondness for animals.
Marie will be remembered as a beloved and devoted presence in the lives of those who knew her, and for the steady faith that guided her as a Catholic throughout her life.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jerome Ginsberg; and two children, Marc (Salvatore) Ginsberg and Michele Ginsberg.
A private graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, Oneonta.
