Theo, as he was affectionately known as, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his journey on this Earth was short, it was one marked with nothing but love and his passing has left a void in the hearts of all the lives he touched.
Matthias is survived by his loving parents, Alexander and Maya, his brother Alex Jr. Theo leaves behind his beloved grandmothers Shannon Oski, and Meg Sylvester. Along with many other grandparents who cherished their grandson. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who adored him dearly. Among them are Heather Cottone, Evelyn Ruiz and Jermaine Weir, Destini Juhl and Nathaniel Lopez, Jordan Fritts, Jenifer Cookinham, Andy and Elicia Ely-Philhower, Julianna Pidgeon and Adrian Beares and a host of cousins who shared in his joyful spirit.
Those who knew Matthias will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Although Theo's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love in all that we do.
