I have many fond memories of the Guidice family as neighbors to us Laws on the farm on Coe Hill! Nick used to help us with the milking sometimes when my parents would go away for a weekend or just when needed. He was such a sweet gentle man! My thoughts and prayers are with Mary and his family!

Nick and Mary were our next door neighbors in Franklin for a few years in the early 80s. Our first child, Curt, was born in 1982. We moved from Franklin in 1986. As a toddler Curt enjoyed visiting with Nick and Mary. It was good there was a fence between our houses, otherwise once he started walking, Curt would have frequently found his way to the Giudice back door! If Curt and I were outside when Nick returned home from work, Nick, in his quiet, unassuming way, would often take time to visit with Curt, always a highlight of Curt's day!
When Curt was about 2 1/2 I went back to work outside the home. I informed Nick I was starting a new job during one of our outdoor visits. I recall saying, "you probably don't know the place, it's along the river in Unadilla." He grinned, he knew exactly what business I was referring to as he was the foreman at York Modern! In fact, the landscape equipment manufacturer was booming in the mid 80s, requiring the addition of a second shift. No doubt in my mind that Nick greatly contributed to York's continued success throughout his 30 year career with the company. From my vantage point, he was well regarded and respected by all.
Our condolences to Mary, Michael and Linda.

So many fond memories of Nick (Nicky Baby) and the time that we spent at your home as a kid - my sincerest sympathy Mary, Linda and Michael. I specifically remember Nick as a kind and gentle man with a good sense of humor. It was apparent that his world was his family. He always greeted me with a big hug and a kiss as I ran into you guys through the years. I will always remember that kindness and gesture of love. May he rest in peace. Much Love - Leanne
