I have so many wonderful memories of Owen. Always a gentleman and so much fun to spend time with. Working with him through all my years as GM at the Otsego Electric Co-op was invigorating - he challenged us to do good work and always remember the members that we served. My thoughts and prayers are with you Kathleen and with your family.

Kathleen and Family, I have such wonderful memories of Owen, whom I had the pleasure of knowing when he was President of the Board of Directors and a Board Member of the Delaware County Electric Cooperative of which I am still an employee of DCEC. My prayers are with you at this sad time.....Memories keep us going.

Kathleen, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have so many memories of NRECA directors' training sessions with Owen and others from DCEC. My favorite is the time Owen, out of the blue, asked me for an aspirin or other painkiller -- when I asked him how he knew I had one, he said he had just looked for the woman with the largest purse! He will be missed. Hugs to you.

Kathleen, You will never know how much we cherish the years we had together in Myrtle Beach. those very cold swims in the ocean the end of March before we made our way North. My son, Tim said Owen will live on in our hearts and we will think of him every time we use his famous saying ( Oh! I see you are making your problem my problem ) I'll sum this up by saying we are better off for knowing this kind, gentle man.
