Patricia Ann Eichler

Patricia "Pat" Harrington Eichler, 90, formerly of Oneonta, died Monday, September 14, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Her two daughters with whom she lived in Chittenango for the last eight years were by her side.

Pat was born in Walton on September 9, 1936 the daughter of Frank W.G. and Freda E. (Rickard) Harrington. She was recently able to enjoy her 90th birthday party with family and friends at the Sixth Ward Athletic Club. Pat was employed at the club for many years and made lifelong friends.

Pat is predeceased by her husband, Vernard, daughter, Elaine Jenks, son, Mark Eichler and brothers-in-law, Robert Bartlett and Carl O'Dell.

She is survived by daughters, Laura Laub and Michele Kelly both of Chittenango, Mark's lifelong partner, Kristen Larsen of Oneonta; grandchildren, Wesley Davy (Christine) of Windsor and Amanda Eichler Egnew (Jarred) of Herkimer; great grandchildren, Malcolm, Daenon, Lucus and Maddie Davy and Noah Egnew; sisters, Sarah Bartlett and Mary Wilkie (Robert) both of Walton, Rebecca O'Dell of Afton and Georgia Gifford (Richard) of Delhi; plus many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Grummons-Bookhout-Bennett Funerals & Cremations, 14 Grand Street, Oneonta. Following the funeral there will be a coffee hour. Interment will be in the Oneonta Plains Cemetery.
