I remember running away from home when I was about 10.  It was a quick trip because Aunt Paula lived in the front half of the house.  She never called Mom and ratted me out.  Just made some popcorn and we sat down and watched TV... I think it was Hee Haw.  Mom came over about an hour later asking if I was done and ready to go home.  She knew that I would always run to Aunt Paula.  Aunt Paula always told us girls that we would always have a place to go to if we needed anything.  I can't count the times I did just that!
