My condolences to the Stilson/Bump family for the loss of a loved one. I was notified of the passing of Polly Stilson Bump by friends of mine in Unadilla. My father Charles Ford Stilson was a brother of Seeley Stilson. I never knew Polly, but knew of Thelma. I knew Anne Drexler quite well, and George was my barber in Unadilla. Our Aunt Dorothy Stilson Sandike lived across the street from Thelma and family I think. As you may know, "Ford" and Grenell "Jim" Stilson ran the gas station in Unadilla as I was growing up in the 50's.
I am now in Cincinnati with my wife of 52 years and 2 grandchildren nearby. (I can't keep up with Polly)! No Stilson's left in my immediate family, we had 2 girls, one in Austin and one here.
The expanded Stilson family has 2 cousins in Alabama, the grandchildren of "Jim" Stilson. "Bugs" Stilson has a living son from Ogdensburg/Florida. Don't hear from him, don't know if he is living. His older son passed a few years ago. We are running out of Stilsons.
I am 78 years old.
Again, my condolences. Stay safe and well during this difficult time.
