I was so very sorry to hear of Reggie’s passing. A flood of wonderful memories filled me recalling what a huge positive influence he had on me when I was in high school. He was such a positive role model to me and friends taking us golfing, to the Del-Sego Drive, to The Polar Bear for a milkshake.
Being with Reggie was ALWAYS fun. He always SO positive and encouraging.
I recall one of the many times doing the Sunday morning cleaning of the Rainbow Gardens. Reggie never would let us play The Stones, “Satisfaction”. We would sneak over to the jukebox and select it and as soon as he heard it he would come rushing out from wherever he was to hit the reject button. It became a classic ritual. We would always try to stop him but he was like a dominating NFL running back. He once dragged three of us laughing all the way to the button. Thank you Reggie for being such a great, “Big Brother”.
