Richard E. Parliman

Dick was born in Sidney, New York on August 26, 1953, the son of the late Fredrick and Loretta (Mondor) Parliman.

When he wasn’t busy working on the farm, Dick really enjoyed tinkering with older cars, fixing them up to run like new again. He also loved the company of his dear friends and family, spending time with them as often as he could.

Dick is survived by his brother, Charles Parliman and his wife, Karyl of Oneonta, and his sister-in-law, Donna Parliman of Port Crane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Parliman, and by his sister, Joan Parliman.

Friends may call from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta, at which time his family will be present. A funeral service will follow calling hours at 7pm at the funeral home. Interment will in the Oneonta Plains Cemetery at a later date convenient to the family.
