Rosella Osborn, 84, of Oneonta passed away unexpectedly Friday October 25, 2019, at her home.
She was born April 2, 1935, in Cooperstown the daughter of Lucy Zindle. A life-long area resident Rosella married Bradley Osborn on June 30, 1962, in Davenport United Methodist Church.
She worked in the Oneonta area for many years as a house cleaner. Rosella was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church where she was very active. She was also a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans in Bridgewater, where she served as Chaplain. Rosella was also a member of the Daughters of Rebekah Organization in Schenevus.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bradley, of Oneonta; her children Brenda (Osborn) Tufano and her husband Sam of Wheatland, IN; her son John C. Osborn of Oneonta; her sisters Pansy Thomas of Binghamton and Violet Hadley of Delhi and her brothers Earl Zindle, Binghamton and Herb Zindle of Mt. Upton; many nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by a son Christopher Osborn in 1983 as well as her parents.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11AM in the Main Street Baptist Church, 333 Main Street, Oneonta, with Pastor Phil Livermore officiating. Committal Services and burial will follow in Oneonta Plains Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Bookhout Funeral Home 357 Main Street, Oneonta, Wednesday evening from 5 to 7PM at which time the family will be in attendance.
