Lynn was born in Rochester, NY to the late Albert and Grace (LaShomb) Macartney. She grew up in West Webster on her grandparents’ small family farm. As a teenager, she loved to rollerskate and became quite an expert.
Lynn married Andrew McNaught on November 11, 1967 in Brighton, NY. Lynn worked in the mortgage department of First Federal Savings and Loan in Rochester, NY for ten years. She and her husband Andy then moved to Oneonta where they ran the Chestnut Street Radio Shack for 15 years.
Lynn & Andy loved to travel in their Airstream trailer. They were active the Wally Byam Airstream Club and went on many caravans all over North America, including Nova Scotia and Alaska. They owned a home in Spring Hill, FL, where they wintered each year. Lynn also enjoyed crafting, painting, and sewing.
Once her grandchildren were born, she was known as Grammy Lynn, and she was the fun grandmother.
Lynn liked to laugh and she liked to make others laugh. She was a lot of fun.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Andrew McNaught; her son Paul Bourget and his wife Victoria Braik-Bourget of Grand Rapids, MI; her loving grandchildren, Alexandra and George Bourget and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Calling Hours will be held Monday, July 27, 2020, from 5-7 pm in the Bookhout Funeral Home 357 Main Street, Oneonta. Due to Covid-19 visitors will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 11 am in the Bookhout Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Montfort of the First Presbyterian Church, Officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
