Russ was an excellent fisherman.  He caught many salmon in Pulaski, NY.  He gave away almost all of what he caught.  Tammy said Russ never does anything part way-- he goes over and above on everything.

Russell is survived by his mother, Florence Clement, wife, Tammy, daughters Laurie Deligne, Tennille, Karen and Patty Luchetta, 8 grandchildren, sisters Karen McDonald and Susie Weertman and step-mother Joan Luchetta.  He was preceded in death by his father Louis Luchetta, grandparents Edward and Margaret Cackowski and Louise (Gigia) and Louigi Luchetta.
He became a born again Christian in September 2021--we praise the Lord for His grace and lovingkindness! 
I look forward to the day that I can see my brother again--no pain, no sorrow, no sickness. We will be happy and praising our Lord!

I recently told Russ my purple crayon story that I kept secret for 30 years. Glad to make him chuckle. Then I reminded him of our mom’s spaghetti sauce and how I was disciplined because of a comment. He reminded me of that incident for at least 20 years. We both laughed over that one.

    Please let your memories guide you in the times ahead. Russ was always so friendly with me from the dump to Price Chopper and beyond. You and Russ can be proud of your girls. I remember them well from CVCS. God bless you all.

I remember when Russell and I were younger we would get into Grandpas Corby's. When Grandma baked pies and strudel and placed it on the back porch to cool off, we would go back there and eat a bunch before Grandma would catch us.
