Sarah E. Cooper

Sarah E. Cooper, 95, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020, in the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born April 27, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late William H. and Sarah E. (Remaly) Eunson. Sarah received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Inst. of Technology, Pittsburgh, PA. She married Dr. James V.B. Cooper on April 9, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA. He predeceased her on March 25, 2003. Sarah worked for Link Aviation, Binghamton, NY 1947-1949; Syracuse University 1950-1951 and General Electric from 1951-1956.
Sarah was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church, Oneonta. Sarah had a love of animals, domestic and wild. She also enjoyed researching and watching the stock market, genealogy, swimming and gardening.
Sarah is survived by her son, Scott E. Cooper and his wife Shirley of Bainbridge; her daughter, Gail E. Cooper of Sidney; her 2 loving grandchildren, Tori Rifenburg and Ryan Cooper as well as several nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert Eunson.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Thursday May 21, 2020 at 11am in Milford Cemetery, Milford, with Reverend Craig Schwalenberg, officiating.
