Thomas Paul Barnes

He was born May 31, 1961 in Oneonta the son of the late Alford O. and S. Catherine (Ford) Barnes.

Tommy attended Oneonta Schools and graduated from the BOCES program as well as the ARC training school in both Oneonta and Hartwick. He was a lifelong area resident.

He attended Elm Park United Methodist Church with his mother.

Tommy is survived by his brother, Frederick D. Barnes, Oneonta; aunt, Lena Barnes, West Davenport; as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his uncles, Ralph and James Ford and Jack Barnes.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2021 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with the Rev. John Buddle Pastor of the Elm Park United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the Oneonta Plains Cemetery.
