He was born on July 8, 1943 in Walton NY. Tim graduated in 1961 from Otego Central School and then went on to train at Greer Heavy Equipment in Illinois.
In September of 1962 he enlisted into the US Navy with his brother, Donald. While serving, his time was mainly spent on Nuclear Submarines. He was honorably discharged in September of 1969.
In the early 1970s Tim and Don initially formed Woodland Construction, later Wayman’s Construction, during which they built numerous homes in the area. In the early 1980s, Don relocated his family to Virginia and Tim continued on alone to build many more custom homes, additions, and garages; including the Wayman Drive housing development in Otego. He retired in 2000.
Tim loved scouting for deer and bow hunting. He was always happy and proud when he got, “the big one.”
Tim is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Doris, his wife of 57 years whom he married on his birthday in 1967.
He is also survived by two daughters, Brenda (Larry) Tighe, and Kathleen (Martin) Cummings; and several grandchildren, Thereon and Zachary Colosa, Rosalyn Tighe, and Trevor and Jocelyn Duncan.
