I was sorry to learn of Bill's passing. I live in Texas and a cousin ,Willard Hollenbeck Jr,. called with the sad news. I'm his 1st cousin and he was quite a bit older than me. That and the distance didn't allow for more visits with him. He always had a gentle and friendly spirit about him and enjoyed life. One of God's children who will be missed by all that knew him.

I am deeply saddened by Mr. Hollenbeck's passing. I knew him as Mr. Hollenbeck but "Popeye" is far more fitting! Over the years we passed on the road often as he took his dog & car out for a daily drive and I took my dogs for a walk. He always had the biggest smile on his face and the most vigorous wave. I've missed seeing him on the road for a while now. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends.
