

Anastacio Ortega Lopez, affectionately known to all as “Tacho”, went to be with the Lord and entered his heavenly home on February 11, 2018. He died at his home of 56 years in Montclair, CA at the age of 88. He was born on October 9, 1929 to parents Lucio Lopez and Kerena Ortega Lopez in LaVerne, CA. He was one of five siblings and their only son. Tacho was a hardworking and dedicated construction worker, serving as a cement mason and foreman for 40 years before he retired in 1995. Tacho is survived by his wife of 63 years Helen Beltran Lopez; three sons, Steve Lopez, David Lopez and Tony Lopez, and one daughter, Mary Rubalcava, all of Montclair; five grandchildren, Benjamin Lopez of Montclair, Yvette Navarro of Rancho Cucamonga; Maia Lopez, Talisa Lopez and Steven Lopez, all of Irvine, CA; and two great-grandchildren. Tacho enjoyed playing cards with family, trips to Laughlin, horse racing and watching his favorite team, the Dodgers.
Funeral services will be held at Draper Mortuary on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00am. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Bellevue Memorial Cemetery in Ontario.
