Enedina “Ann” Quesada-Parra passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. Ann Quesada-Parra was born on December 9, 1930 to Miguel and Aurora Quesada. Raised in Ontario Ann lived in the Ontario/Alta Loma area her entire life. Ann attended Grove Elementary School, Vina Danks Junior High School, and graduated from Chaffey High School, Class of 1950. Upon graduation Ann married Joe Parra, becoming the parents of two sons, Michael and David.
In 1982 Ann began working in real estate which she described as her “dream job” at first working for Merrill Lynch Realty and later for Prudential California Realty. Ann was passionate about work as a realtor as exemplified by her many awards; Southern California Rookie of the Year award as well as being listed in the Million Dollar Sales Group in her first year as an agent, and the Multi-Million Dollar Sales Group every year after that. In 1990 she was awarded the prestigious national Prudential Realty President’s Award. But more than the awards, she said, helping first time buyers acquire their first home was her greatest reward.
Ann retired from Real Estate in 2003, allowing her to spend time with her grand-children and great grand-children and family as well as being able to devote time working on “her new passion,” the Quesada family tree tracing the family lineage back to the 1400s. Ann also enjoyed music, dancing, going to the movies with “the cousins,” having lunch with family and friends. Ann especially looked forward towards going to Sammy’s Diner II in Rancho Cucamonga.
Ann is survived by her two sons, Michael (Sally) and David, grandchildren, Michael, Rose, Zakk, Jocelyn and Ananissa, great -grandchildren Marissa, Brent, Maleya and Romey.
