Hey Big Aust. You were my very first friend at Ontario Christian, and you were also my best friend. We spent all of our time together, and even had a lot of the same classes all through highschool. I remember us being on the gridiron, playing football together. The monotonous practices, but coach always put us together because he knew how close we were, and how great we were as a team. I remember him calling us "The Dynamic Duo", and I guess that proved true for a lot more than just sports. We used to do so many stupid things in class, make stupid jokes, walk over to Taco Bell or In-N-Out after school all the time and just talk about whatever we wanted to. We didn't really fit in anywhere, and that's why we were such great friends. I'll miss you a lot. We went through a lot together, and I'll never forget the memories we've shared. You were my brother, and I'll never forget you. Ever.

As one of the only true friends I ever had growing up all the way through elementary school, I cannot express how grateful I am for you. Even though we drifted apart through life, I’m glad we got to connect again before your passing. As a brother of mine from beginning to end I love you man and won’t ever forget the memories we had together. I still remember shooting around after school with your over-pumped tire basketball. We’d always stay too late playing and it would make us both late for the bus. I’ll never forget the crazy awesome sound effects you loved to show me every time you discovered you could make a new one. I loved playing on our gameboys at school inside the classroom when it was raining during recess. I would have never guessed that would be such a cherished memory, but you made it one for me anyways. And I can’t ever forget the times you loved rubbing the Patriots in my face and standing up for them. The loyalty you had for all your friends, including me, and your big heart easily made you one of the coolest guys I could have asked for in a friend. You and your family are in my prayers buddy. Love ya Stache.

I met Austin at UPS. I was on his crew. Every morning we would talk about the Lakers. He had just purchased a new rain jacket to prepare for the upcoming rain. He loved his Rincon jeep and the Patriots. We would talk about how lazy some people were at work. I would joke with him about how tall he was he could barely fit in the pits of the plane. He was a great person and a great friend. I am so honored to be a part of his life. I still hear his laugh and see his face in my thought. I miss you Austin.
