

In Loving Memory Barbara Jean Craver February 22, 1937 - February 22, 2011 Memorial Service Monday, February 28, 2011 2:00 p.m. Draper Memorial Chapel Ontario, CA 91762 Rev. Yvonne Pollard - Officiating. Obituary: Ms. Barbara Jean Craver, age 74, ascended into the Father's loving arms in San Bernardino, CA on her birthday Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Born on February 22, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Booker and Emma Ruth Chappell, she moved with her now deceased husband "Taffy" and her children to Los Angeles, CA in 1966. She then settled in Pomona, CA in 1967 where she came to the presence of God during that period and became an active member of the Community Church of God in Pomona. She suffered a devastating stroke in November 2006 while living in Vallejo, CA. She lived the remainder of her life in the Legacy Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center in San Bernardino, CA where she was treated with dignity, love and respect. Survivors include her children; Willie Owens Jr.,Tyrone Owens, Yvette Scott, Vanessa Sherman, and Byron Craver. She is also survived by her siblings; Joseph H. Turner Jr., Delores Roberson and Celeste Chappell. Her legacy continues with her loving 18 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and first through fourth generations of cousins in Ohio and Georgia.
