Barbara graduated from James Madison High School in 1966. She went on to attend La Verne College and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California. Her career path led her to Bourns Inc., where her exceptional editorial and grammar skills made her an invaluable asset until she retired to focus on family life.
Though she never had children of her own, she embraced her role as a grandmother with open arms and an open heart. Her family will always treasure the memories of sleepovers, playing dress-up in vintage clothing (with plenty of photos to match), catching movies and sharing popcorn, spending days at the beach searching for seashells, initiating squirt gun fights in the spa, and hosting fun family holidays. She made every moment special, and proudly kept every piece of treasured artwork handed to her over the years.
Her love for art, antiques, photography, Art Nouveau, stained glass, the beach, and the outdoors were just a few reflections of the remarkable woman she was. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed.
She is survived by her brother, Scott, and his family, as well as the family of her late husband, Boyce.
