Bonnie was born Bonnie Lou Timmons in Covina, California to parents Harriet and Archibald Timmons. Survived by her four children; Kimberly, Lynn, Thomas and Christopher; her four grandchildren; her sister Jennye and many friends, Bonnie carried herself with gusto, laughter, and spunk. She left a lasting impression through her kindness, humor and meaningful spirit.
Bonnie built a successful career as an executive secretary all the while raising her four children with husband Clayton. During her early retired years, Bonnie and Clayton traveled as snowbirds to the two houses they built themselves in Idaho and Arizona. After her husband’s passing, Bonnie chose to keep on living and traveled the world. She ate pizza in Italy, croissants in France, and tea in the English countryside. She even rode vespas in Napa with her granddaughter. Bonnie lived big and smiled through it all.
Though she will be missed dearly, her memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A graveside memorial service will be held on November 7, 2026, at 2:30pm at La Verne Cemetery, located at 3201 B Street, La Verne, Ca. 91750. Reception immediately following at daughter Lynn’s home.
