Celia Salgado

Celia lived life to the fullest. She retired from the International Longshoreman's Union in West Sacramento. She loved to travel, watch movies and dance. She was a member of the Snoopers Easter Seals Bike Club and received many awards for her dedication and service. She loved her family and shared her "Don't Quit" attitude with each of us.

She is survived by daughter, Yolanda Salgado; son, Joseph Salgado (Wendy); 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her life partner, Philip Rubalcava; son, Jerry Salgado; daughter, Cristina Salgado-Junious.

Funeral services will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Avenue, Ontario, CA, on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Viewing from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. with a graveside service at Noon.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. at VFW Post 8762 - 905 Drever Street, West Sacramento, CA."
