Christine Lynn Collar

Obituary of Christine Lynn Collar
IN THE CARE OF

Draper Mortuary

Christine Lynn Collar, 62, passed away on July 8, 2026. Born March 18, 1964, in New York, she was a longtime resident of Ontario, California.

Christine was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren, and her devotion to family remained at the center of her life.

For 14 years, Christine worked at Walmart, approaching her responsibilities with consistency and dependability and offering a familiar presence to those who knew her through her work.

She found comfort and enjoyment in simple, meaningful pleasures: reading suspense, supernatural and murder mystery books, visiting wineries and settling in with favorite shows and films, including The Mummy franchise and Rizzoli and Isles. Christine enjoyed listening to Styx, along with the songs of the 60s and 70s. She also appreciated the calm of the woods and beach. She treasured quiet places where she could read, drink coffee and be close to nature. An animal lover at heart, Christine especially loved dogs. She was also delighted in seeing deer when visiting the East Coast.

Christine’s faith and perspective were reflected in words she valued, including Proverbs 16:9, “If it's in God's will, it will happen and nothing will stop it. If it's not, God has a better plan. Have peace knowing this.”

Christine is survived by her children, Natawnee Collar, Zachery Collar, and Cheyenne Dospital; and her grandchildren, Bella Collar, Ethan Collar, Landon Dospital, Luke Collar, Haven Dospital, Cecily Lecount, Emma Collar, Thera Lecount, and Harlowe Dospital.

Those who knew Christine will remember a woman whose love was steady and generous, whose care for others was offered without hesitation and whose strength showed itself in quiet perseverance.
