Christine will be remembered as a loving mother of two and a devoted grandmother, whose steady warmth and gentle spirit shaped the lives of those closest to her. Her family was the center of her world, and she held deepest pride in her two sons, Garrett Schual and Justin Schual, who were truly her joy. She was a proud grandmother to Rylee Schual, and she was looking forward with heartfelt anticipation to the arrival of her grandson.
In the everyday moments, Christine’s kindness and tender heart were evident; especially in the care she showed to animals, with a special affection for cats. She also found happiness in the things that brought color and light to life: keeping up with the latest fashion, enjoying shopping and beauty, and staying connected through TikTok and the many TV shows she loved to follow. Music accompanied her days as well, and her favorite song was “Shallow” by Lady Gaga.
Christine cherished time spent with friends and family, including trips to the river that created lasting memories. She also took simple pleasure in the foods she loved most, especially Mexican food, shared in good company.
Christine was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Culkosky. She is survived by her father, Edward Culkosky; her sister, Dana Culkosky; her brother, Jeff Culkosky; her sons, Garrett Schual and Justin Schual; and her granddaughter, Rylee Schual.
Christine’s life was defined by love given freely, a gentle presence, and a quiet strength that will be deeply missed and gratefully remembered.
