

He was predeceased by his father Hugo Thorsell, mother Sallie Bernadina Magnusson, and sisters, Evelyn, Eleanor and Bernice.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy Gail Thorsell. They were married in Pasadena, California, September 21, 1972.
Cliff is lovingly remembered by four children, Jeff, Dale, Debbie and Terry, 7 grandchildren, Maxwell, Allison, Sean, Ryan, Kevin, Erin and Gregory and brother, Phil Thorsell.
Cliff was born in San Pedro, California on December 1st 1930. Cliff graduated from San Pedro High School in 1949 and went on to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.
He opened a cabinet shop in his early career. Later on he went to work for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as a carpenter. He retired after 26 years of service.
Music was a big part of Cliff’s life. He loved singing praises and hymns to his Lord Jesus. He was an accomplished Tenor and sang with choirs and gospel groups most of his adult life.
In his senior years he developed a passion for horse shoe throwing and was on “Cloud Nine” when he won tournaments.
Cliff will be remembered for his love for the Lord, love for his family, his humor, songs and joy of life.
He was a wonderful father, husband, grandpa, and friend. God spoiled us when he gave us Cliff. We know he is having a BLAST at his welcome party in Heaven and we look forward to seeing him there!
