Daniel Bozick, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 7, 2012. Dan was born on August 20, 1934 to Nick and Minnie Bozick in Adha, Pennsylvania. Dan is survived by his loving wife of more than 55 years, Genevieve, his three daughters Deborah Discoe, Pamela Ispas (Tom) DeAnna McIntosh (Mark), his grandchildren Victoria Discoe Tango (Richard), Kimberly Discoe, Steffanie Discoe, Dustin Ispas, Genevieve Ispas, Cara McIntosh Melendez, (Eduardo), a brother Michael Bozick (Bobbie), and a sister Sophie Levy (Steve). He was preceded in death by his grandson Matthew McIntosh.
Dan started his career with the IBEW in 1959 as an apprentice electrician and then inside wireman. In 1973 he started his own successful contracting business, Daniel's Electrical Const. Co. He was very involved in the electrical industry and held several offices in the NECA organization and served for over 20 years as a Trustee on the Electricians' Health and Pension Trust. Dan was a member of the Electric 21 and was honored for his service to the industry by being inducted into the Academy of Electrical Contractors.
During his retirement Dan enjoyed being a member of Redlands Country Club. Dan and Genevieve enjoyed traveling all over the U. S. as well as many foreign countries. He also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and his many antique cars.
Dan touched so many lives in so many ways and his family would like to have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The Ceremony will be held at Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario at 1:30 in the afternoon.
