Time may keep moving, but you are not forgotten, not today, not ever. Seems crazy that 4 years have passed.  Hopefully people haven't forgotten about you and the lessons you left behind, the wisdom, the knowledge of life, cars, bikes, your job. Wish I would have stuck around. Until next writing .

Two years have gone by but we think about the good memories and the people who have been placed in the path of your generosity, wisdom, friendship. Great husband and father.

Just wanted to say that I can't believe a year has already past since we celebrated the life of Dave. However I'm sure there isn't a day that goes by that someone is thinking of him including myself although I was estranged from the family to deal with my demons he helped me in a big way and never really got to thank him I'm sure I will see him on the other side God willing that is and I can thank him then.  God Speed. God Bless.

I think of David often, we experienced much together. I have tried to honor him and our working relationship by helping Dorothy track down benefits he earned, and she is entitled to. I am thankful she is nearing the end of the process, and will finally be able to grieve properly, knowing that in passing David is still providing for her.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think about Dave. His spirit will live with me forever.

I sit here in my garage thinking about my cousin Dave. Trying to get the courage up to get dressed and attend his Celebration Of Life with all my family and friends. The past couple of weeks I have dealt with Anger, Sadness, Laughter and Love, but today is much different. I am shaking and crying like a baby and occasionally a little smirk because I know Dave would say “Stop crying like a sissy”. This man was like a father to me growing up. I would spend so many hours hanging out in his garage watching and helping him work on Harleys and cars. Sometimes I had to find a hiding place because tools would be flying around lol. We would chat about family, my father, cars, motorcycles and so much more. 
Dave has helped shape me into the Father and Husband I am today. 
I have learned so much from this man throughout the years. Not long ago Dave said to me that my father would be proud of me and how much he was proud of me. That statement meant so much to me.
I am hurting so much knowing I will not be able to see him physically. Dave’s spirit will live with me forever and there will never be a day I will not think about him or miss him.

Buckets of Red Vines, homemade taquitos at Christmas, and pencil sketches of cars and flames on your bedroom wall before you could even drive....such sweet memories of a much simpler time. No words can describe the heartbreak. I love you David….hug Mom and Dad for us.     

David, I have always admired you as my oldest brother.. My heart is heavy and I know Mom and Dad were there with open arms waiting for you.. they loved you as we all did and still do. ❤

Happy Birthday Uncle David! I always looked at you as an ideal man. You were my second dad, and I've always known that you were a phone call away. I have countless memories with you guys. Some of the best in my life. I know you are with my dad now, making sure Heaven knows you are there.  You will be greatly missed. Love you always Uncle David

I am at a loss for words. David was the most kindhearted loving man who loved his family more than anything. My dad always admired him.  My dad will be happy to have someone to get him out of trouble in heaven . I hope they are riding in the sky together. 

My heart has been aching since Dorothy called to let me know of David's passing. I have no words that will ease the pain Dorothy and her family are suffering. 

Photos posted here of David have helped me cope. They have reminded me that with David, what you "see" is what you get! I am forever grateful that I got to "see" David.

I am also very proud of what David accomplished as a Groundman, Cablesplicer and Foreman. We worked together at Hampton Tedder Electric for a long time. SCE said we were the best, and we were, we did it right! David was my last working partner before I retired. During busy times he spent more time with me than he spent with his family. I will forever cherish my memories with David.








Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys. Ken has always spoken highly of you all. Dorothy every meeting with you has always been welcoming and warm. Shannon I have yet to meet you in person, but when I do, I have a big hug waiting for you. We love you guys. 

David has been in my life since my Sister and he got together I was around 12.  I have so many memories of great times we all had together . One was when he would take us to Green Mist and scare us he would just laugh as we screamed and ran around like crazy girls.. Will miss everything about him.. He would put up his hand 
up and say see ya later Trace. So  with that I say see ya later David.  Love you. Tracey

My Uncle David and my father were two of the most righteous men I have ever known and have always tried to model myself after. RIP Uncle Dave. 

I am grateful for having had the opportunity to know Dave ( he did not let me call him that). I spliced cable with him at EPC for several months. He was a true master of our craft an a kind and caring person. I regret  I will be out of town on March 2nd but want to extend to you my condolences and express my regard for one of the greatest craftsman I have worked with in my 43 year career . May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Mark Werndorf    

My best friend for as long as I can remember and I miss you everyday and twice as much on Sundays. I love you Dave.
