A peaceful and kind spirit, you are missed here on earth, but your spirit will always be felt in the people you touched while here.

Denny, I find it difficult to believe your bright light is no longer shining. From the age of 13, when we became best friends, it has been this light that influenced who I am more than anything else in my life.
You were born with a perfect mixture of intelligence, compassion, loyalty, mischief and foremost, humor. It was your friendship and these traits that left me with a wealth of memories and influenced me to stay focused on family, career and academics. More than anything however, you taught me to have a damn good time no matter what I was up to. 
I could not have dreamed up a better friend and I feel extremely bless to have traveled through this life knowing you. You have been my greatest hero, my favorite teacher and best friend.
I have no doubt we will meet again and I look forward to continuing the antics we enjoyed as young men. Until then, I will greatly miss you.

Dear Uncle Denny,
My heart wants to be there with you right now, but I know you don't feel well. I don't want to say goodbye, but I am more afraid not to. Life will never be the same without you. I want you to know how special you are to my family, to my children. You and Rochelle open your home to us every Thanksgiving for a while now...Feed us amazing food, make us laugh, too much champagne, and most importantly make us feel normal. I will never forget your priceless smirk after telling a stupid joke, I mean funny joke and the way you make Zack laugh when he plays around with you, making up pet names for you like "Sparky". Dear Kelly Girls and Family:
What a special brother, uncle, and husband you all were so fortunate to have.  I only met Denny twice, but he immediately made me feel like one of the family.  So warm and loving was his way in life.  I will remember him so fondly from those two encounters.  There was no hesitation in feeling such fondness for him, because he was the type of person that you felt you knew forever.  I think that was one of his many gifts in life.  When I see you girls and your children, I see your brothers face. He still lives in all of you and your wonderful memories of him.  You are a special family to me and my love goes out to all of you.  He will be missed so much by so many.  To make an impression on so many people is all that we can hope for in life. Dennis was a great person that I have got to work with regarding the safety program as a forman for many jobs expressing the safety program that dennis required by fellow workman...he cared very deeply for all of us and he will be sorely missed by us .thanks for being who you are!!! There are no words to express the understanding of the heartache you are going through...to lose a sibling..your Brother.  They say time heals the ache...time.
