Dick De Groot

Dick De Groot went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 29, 2016. Dick was born to Pieter and Jeltje De Groot in Raard, The Netherlands, on May 25, 1928. He immigrated to America in 1954. Dick married Henrietta Struiksma in 1955. He lived in Ontario, California for 57 years. Dick was a dedicated dairyman and a hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of First United Reform Church of Chino. Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Henrietta, son, Peter, daughters, Betty and Jenny, and grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica. He leaves behind his sisters, Wietske and Henny, as well as nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by an infant son, his parents, his sister, Neeltje, and brothers, John and Pier.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM in Friday, July 8, 2016 at First United Reform Church, 6159 Riverside Drive, Chino, California. Interment will be at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside, California. Memorial gifts/donations may be given to Inland Christian Home in Ontario, California.
