Dolores P. Fabiani, age 89, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 13, 2018 in Menifee, California. She was born on September 27, 1928 in Koppel, Pennsylvania, to Alfonso W. Rossi and Stella (Renoldi) Rossi. Dolores was married to Domenic L. Fabiani for 63 years; they were wed on April 23, 1955 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Throughout their lives together in Western Pennsylvania and then in Southern California, Dolores worked as a homemaker, an executive secretary and as a volunteer for many different community organizations, including her local Catholic parishes and Knots of Love, where she knitted more than 2,000 caps for cancer patients.
Dolores is survived by her husband Domenic, her daughter Christine, her son Mark, and her grandchildren Geoffrey, Ian, Joseph, Isabella, and Lucca. Dolores was preceded in death by her father Alfonso W. Rossi, her mother Stella (Renoldi) Rossi, her brothers Alfonso Rossi Jr. and Louis J. Rossi, and her sister Mary Malcena Pullinger.
Family, friends and others whose lives Dolores touched are invited to the visitation at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, California 91762 on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm to reminisce. A Rosary Service will take place at the same location that evening at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass for Dolores will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 12686 Central Avenue, Chino, California 91710 on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 10:30 am. Entombment at Bellevue Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1240 W. G Street, Ontario, California 91762, will take place immediately following the Mass.
